It is the Chinese New Year holiday breaks and my friends and me decided to go to cinema and watch the movie Underworld: Rise of Lycans. I was not expecting much from this movie actually, I mean the previous Underworld and Underworld Evolution were great but it was long enough that I have actually forgotten most of the story plot.

However, I was totally thrilled with the movie plot, awesome animation, and love the movie casts especially Lucian(Michael Sheen), Sonya(Rhona Mitra) and Viktor(Bill Nighly) and Raze(Kevin Grevioux). The cool and wild Lucian portrayed by Michael Sheen is the main attraction of the movie, brave and strong, as well as the leader of the Lycan clan. Then followed by the beauty of Sonya portrayed by Rhona Mitra, definitely an extra added spices to the movie. Overall I would rate this movie 4 out of 5(just personal rating lol), definitely a great choice of movie to be watched in cinema.

Imdb Rating : 6.8/10

Rotten Tomatoes Rating : 4.7/10

Movie Plot Summary:

The third film in the $200 million UNDERWORLD franchise delves into the origins of the centuries-old blood feud between the aristocratic vampires, known as Death Dealers, and the barbaric Lycans (werewolves). A young Lycan, Lucian (Michael Sheen), emerges as a powerful leader who rallies the werewolves to rise up against Viktor (Bill Nighy), the cruel vampire king who has persecuted them for hundreds of years. Lucian is joined by his secret lover, the beautiful vampire Sonja (Rhona Mitra), in his battle to free the Lycans from their brutal enslavement.
